LymphaTouch is a new, patented, measurement based treatment concept for edema removal.
The main component in the treatment concept is the computer controlled LymphaTouch therapy device. The therapeutic effect is based on creation of a negative pressure in the treatment head, stimulating lymph flow. Throughout the treatment process, the device analyzes the mechanical properties of the skin and underlying tissue. The analysis results are used to control the intensity of the therapy, and are included in the treatment report. The measurement based approach ensures optimal patient care and superior ease of use.
The device comes fully equipped with a wide variety of different sized accessories, enabling effective treatment for all patients. The unit is easy to move around with a roll stand, or to take along in a compact carrying bag.
Indications for the LymphaTouch treatment include post-surgical and post-traumatic edema, lipedema, scars, and edema related fibrosis. Efficient treatment of post-operative swelling accelerates the healing process, relieves pain, increases mobility, and reduces the formation of fibrotic tissue.
